    David McFadyen

    David McFadyen | Partner Emeritus

    David co-founded our firm in 1982. For more than forty years, he has worked to develop close relationships with his clients, enabling him to understand their risks, needs, and goals and advise them accordingly. Serving as a trusted advisor, David provides specialized tax and accounting services to closely-held and family-owned businesses and their owners.

    Brent is licensed to practice as a CPA in North Carolina. As the managing partner, he is responsible for communicating and achieving the firm’s vision. His focus on strategic planning, business development and firm operations allows the firm to maintain a long-term and successful focus.

    With more than thirty years experience providing financial guidance to businesses and individuals, Brent has a natural enthusiasm for working with clients to provide practical solutions to their financial challenges.

    Lisa joined our firm in 1985. Throughout her professional career, she has worked with individuals and large and small businesses across a variety of industries. Lisa’s work experience includes a concentration in the area of small business retirement plans. She is a key resource supporting our small business tax and accounting practice development.

    David is licensed to practice as a CPA in North Carolina. In addition to having extensive audit experience with local governments and not-for-profit entities, he has over twenty years of experience providing tax, accounting and business consulting services to a diverse client base.


    Our Remaining Team Members


    At the center of our firm is our staff. They apply our quality control policies to ensure consistency and high standards.

    Our administrative professionals do everything from greeting clients and handling incoming telephone calls to monitoring and updating our tax due date tracking system. They are our “Directors of First Impressions.” Their diverse contributions to our office make them integral members of our team.

    Our firm boasts four full-charge bookkeepers/payroll specialists in our Small Business Services Department. Combined, they have over sixty-five years of experience in public accounting. This team provides clients with invaluable services, including accounts payable processing, general ledger maintenance, sales tax remittance, and payroll processing.

    Our highly-qualified professional client accountants perform accounting and auditing, tax, and advisory services. Many of them have been with our firm for several dedicated years. Clients benefit from this continuity.
