My husband and I own a medical practice. Previously, we used one of the national payroll companies before switching to McFadyen & Sumner in 2008. If we’d known the switch was going to be as smooth as it turned out to be, we would’ve made it sooner. Before, we were never sure who was most qualified to assist us when we needed help. Earlier this year, we switched our payroll services from McFadyen & Sumner to our bank, which turned out to be a horrific nightmare for our small company. We barely made it through one payroll cycle before we were running back to McFadyen & Sumner. Our bank’s payroll service lacked the personal service we were accustomed to receiving, but the biggest problem we encountered was there were too many people involved with the payroll transactions. We didn’t know who was doing what! We were forced to do things their way. They absolutely can’t match the level of business customer service that McFadyen & Sumner provides.
